This year sees the centenary of part of the oldest uniformed voluntary organisation, The Boys’

Brigade. Although founded back in 1883 the Junior Section age group now celebrates its hundredth  birthday. There are companies across The UK and the world and The Boys’ Brigade has organised  special events over the year including sleep-overs, activity weeks and charity events.

As the new year approaches Avon Battalion Boys’ Brigade would welcome any new members and  helpers join them continue this work in what is a great organisation.

The local Boys’ Brigade has groups across the Bristol area in Hanham, Kingswood, St.George, Bedminster and Hengrove as well as companies in Yate and Weston-super-Mare for ages 5-19.

Although up till recently it has been a boys’ organisation our group in Windmill Hill now caters for both boys and girls.

For more information on how to join one of our groups please call Mark Fuller on 07984 983454
