11 year old plays four rounds of golf in charity fundraising effort
Ethan Holway likes golf, even at just 11 years old.
Ethan Holway likes golf, even at just 11 years old. But even by his standards, playing 72 holes in one day is a big ask. With his dad Matt helping, they he off at 5.45am and finished at 8.30pm.
The youngster from Frampton Cotterell raised over £2,000 for The National Autistic Society, more than double his original target. It’s a cause close to his heart as his two younger brothers are affected by the condition.
Ethan has played golf since he was three and now plays for the Gloucestershire County U14 squad and represents the Kendleshire Golf Club
He explained to people donating on his Just Giving page why he took up the challenge: “I am 11 years old, Oakley is 9 and Luca is 8. My brothers are very hard work as they can't communicate easily and don't understand too much so I want to help in some way.”
