The Yate Relay for Life charity has released its 24 hour programme as it celebrates their 10th Birthday.
The event is on the 4th July at Yate Outdoor Sports Centre.  Over the the last decade over £280,000 has been raised for Cancer Research UK. This year’s  event will see over 250 people of all ages relay in teams for 24 hours to raise more money.
There is a full programme of activities during the relay. From bake offs, to stall holders and a bouncy castle, organisers promise something for the whole family.
This year there will be a live music takeover from 5-8pm on the Saturday evening. Regulars and relay favourites, Cherry Red, will be performing along with local band 5am and Bristol based band The Fizzies.
Helene Craddock, chair of Yate Relay said; “the programme for Yate Relay 2015 was designed around celebration; we wanted to celebrate our 10th birthday with a bang. It is our fullest programme, with more going on than ever before”.
