An event that has raised tens of thousands of pounds for good causes over its three-year history is looking for entrants to help it break previous records.
Organisers of the Saddleback Sodbury Sportive are hoping to increase participation and improve on its success story.
Event organiser Bill Bennett said; “We want to make the Sodbury Sportive even better than before and to do so we need as many riders as possible to take part.  If we can attract the same or more riders this year we should be on target to better the £20,658 raised in 2015’.
The Sportive offers a choice of a 30 mile, 60 and 100 mile route, catering for all levels of cycling ability.
All of the profits are donated to good causes and entrants are promised a fully supported event with technical assistance and mechanical help available and plenty of refreshment stations.
The event takes place on Sunday 21 August and entry forms are available online at http://www.sodburysportive.co.uk
