Owners of classic and vintage cars and bikes are being invited to enter this years Classic Car Run.
The event is set to take place on Sunday 26 June and organisers the Rotary Club of Chipping Sodbury are hoping to match the record number of 225 entrants that took part in 2015.
Over the twenty-one year history of the run the Rotary Club has raised in excess of £90,000 with last years event achieving a record £7000 profit. The money raised enables the club to support a variety of good causes both national and local, including the local branch of the RNLI.
On the day, an early morning start in Chipping Sodbury will see participants follow a route south into rural Wiltshire with a coffee stop at the half way mark at Devizes Sports Club.  The journey home will take in All Cannings, East Kennet, Avebury and Hullvington with a final stop at Westonbirt School near Tetbury.  The event is open to pre-1991 cars, motorcycles and light commercial vehicles with entry costs held at £27 for each car or van and £14 for motorcycles.  Anyone wishing to enter should contact the Rotary Club by email to rotary.classic.run@hotmail.co.uk or call 01454 311712
