TWO Yate schools and a nursery have benefited from a new well-being and community team set up by Sun Chemical.

Bosses at the printing ink company in Station Road established the team partly to benefit their staff’s health and safety but also to develop links with the local community.

It has led to the creation of a relaxation area for employees and weekly yoga classes that have already proved popular with the workforce.

The firm has also donated to the fund raising efforts of the nearby Little Acorns Nursery to help the charity Meningitis Now and contributed a hotel break prize for the Christmas draw of the Ridge Junior and Broadway Infant schools.
