SODBURY Players are rehearsing for a production of Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest ahead of a four-day run. 

Characters such as the formidable Lady Bracknell appear in the well-known farcical comedy, which will be performed in Chipping Sodbury Town Hall, Broad Street, from May 10-13.

The Sodbury Players, who put on three main productions a year, celebrated their 70th anniversary last year.
