Two seats are up for grabs in this ward, so you have two votes. Candidates are listed in alphabetical order, with pictures and quotes added for those candidates who have supplied them.

Rob Creer, Conservative:

“I have served on Sodbury Town Council for 7 years, and as a South Gloucestershire Councillor for Chipping Sodbury since 2015, more recently also as Cabinet Member for Corporate Resources. During that time I have campaigned to protect our library, supported projects like the Big Lunch and worked with many other community groups.”

Rebecca Romaine, Conservative:

Community minded, Rebecca always like to help where she can in the local area, and having been schooled in Chipping Sodbury, remains very active in the community. She has recently helped out at the Chipping Sodbury Victorian Day, worked as an ambassador for the Global Poverty Project and set up a number of grass roots charities.

Adrian Rush, Liberal Democrat Focus Team:

Adrian Rush

Attended Sodbury School and has lived in Chipping Sodbury for 35 years. He has been the South Gloucestershire councillor for Chipping Sodbury twice. He has also been mayor and chairman of the town council and is chairman of Sodbury

Youth Club, which he saved from South Gloucestershire’s cuts.

Pat Trull, Liberal Democrat Focus Team:

Pat Trull

Has lived in Wickwar/Yate for most of her life, and attended local schools. Recently retired as Wickwar Parish Clerk after 18 years’ service. Works part-time at the Wickwar out of School Club. Volunteer for Cancer Research UK Yate for 20 Years.
Passionate about Road Safety and is Chairman of Speedwatch South Glos.
