CHIPPING Sodbury’s Hobbs House bakery has expanded and opened its fourth shop.
The family firm, established in the 1920s, now has premises in Malmesbury to add to its original shop in Chipping Sodbury and sites in Tetbury and Nailsworth.
Hobbs House is currently training the sixth generation of its family to go into the bakery business.
The Malmesbury shop is being run by Izzy Wells, assisted by Emily Smalls, with handmade bread supplied daily from the bakery in Chipping Sodbury.
Cakes are baked on site and to mark the opening, a new Malmesbury cake was created, featuring a traditional bread pudding with spiced apples and local cider glaze.
