SIX councillors who between them have given more than 100 years of service to Yate have retired from the town council.
Three of them have each represented their community for between 24 and 27 years - Cleo Trotter, Mike Robbins and Alan Lawrance.
Sue and Dave Evan Jones have both served the locality for 12 years, while Martin Monk has been a councillor for eight years.
All have decided not to stand for re-election at the May local elections and they were thanked for their long service at a recent full meeting of the council.
