ELECTORAL officers in South Gloucestershire are urging people to make sure they have a vote in the European Union referendum.

ELECTORAL officers in South Gloucestershire are urging people to make sure they have a vote in the European Union referendum.
Anyone currently not on the electoral register has only until Tuesday, June 7, to ensure they can have a say on Britain’s future.
The referendum on the UK’s membership of the EU takes place on Thursday, June 23, and an information booklet from the Electoral Commission is currently being put through letterboxes to give further details on the referendum, the voting registration process and the voting method.
John McCormack, South Gloucestershire’s electoral registration officer, said: “I’d encourage everyone in South Gloucestershire to act now if they’re not already registered to vote. It’s easy to register and only takes a few minutes online.”
Registration can be done at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote or those without internet access can phone 0800 328 0280 to get a registration form.
