200 runners are set to take to the Frampton Cotterell countryside to raise money for a local school.

The Frampton Globe Trot sold out in 29 hours when it went on line and those lucky enough to get a place can expect to get dirty.

The 8 mile off-road race has been organised by three parents from Frampton Cotterell CofE Primary School, Claire Fletcher, Wayne Inker and Caroline Macdonald.

The race on Saturday 25 March starts and finishes at the Globe pub and takes in the surrounding countryside with lots of mud, stiles and water hazards.

Organisers are raising money for the school and are still looking for volunteers to help with marshalling on the day.  For more information you can contact them via Facebbook: www.facebook.com/FramptonGlobeTrot
