Last chance for tickets as Iron Acton gets ready to rock
Organisers of the Iron Acton Mash say tickets are selling very well for the music event on 6 July, with the Queen tribute band, Flash topping the bill.
Supporting Flash is critically acclaimed soul singer, Elle Bailey who hails from Chipping Sodbury but has recently recorded an album in Tennessee. Just back from a European tour, she says she welcomes the opportunity to play to a home crowd.
Local band Mad Apple Circus complete the line up with their unique blend of "Bristone" music. Several of the band members went to Iron Acton primary school but have gone on to play at festivals all over Europe including Glastonbury.
Classical music is the focus of the Proms on Saturday 7 July. This year’s theme is a "Night at the Movies" with the 60 piece Bristol Millennium Orchestra appearing with other local performers.
Hot food and a bar are at both events.
All money raised from the event will go to local good causes via Acton Aid.
