MS Centre looks to raise funds
MS Therapy Centre is preparing for a Christmas Fair to raise funds for the centre.
Members and volunteers will be running stalls, many of which featuring hand crafted items offering the perfect chance to stock up on those stocking fillers and presents.
The Centre’s Oxygen Chamber will become Santa’s Grotto with Santa and some of his Elves handing out little Christmas gifts.
The West of England MS Therapy Centre, based at Bradley Stoke, has been caring for people with Multiple Sclerosis, their families and carers since 1985. MS is a disease affecting the central nervous system and is the most common cause of disability in young people in the UK today.
It costs around £380,000 to keep the Centre running every year and currently less than 1% is received from statutory funding so events like this are essential.
The festive fun is on Sunday 2 December from 12pm to 4pm at The West of England MS Therapy Centre, Wheatfield Drive, Bradley Stoke.
