Over 50’s Forum celebrates 25 years
South Gloucestershire’s Over 50s Forum is marking its 25th anniversary with a pledge to continue making sure that people over 50 are respected and listened to.
At its conference and AGM, the forum launched a survey, asking how residents of this age group would like their views to be heard, and what topics people would like skilled speakers to advise on.
Chair of the Forum Margaret Slucutt said ‘This is a real opportunity to ensure the voice of all residents in South Gloucestershire, who are between 50 and 70 years of age, are heard. We have piloted evening meetings in Yate and Kingswood and we now want the input of people to help us develop this representation further.’
