A CONSERVATION group that helps care for Lilliput Park is looking for volunteers to get involved in a weekend work day.
The park is sited between Heron Way and Chipping Sodbury and is popular with people of all ages.
Lilliput Conservation Group runs work mornings on the first Tuesday of each month but is now going to have a weekend session on the morning of Saturday, October 15.
It will run from 10am-noon and anyone who wants to be involved should meet at the Kingfisher Road gate.
All ages are welcome but children must be accompanied by responsible adults. Suitable footwear should be worn and gloves would be useful.
Dodington parish councillor Paul Hulbert, who is a regular at the work sessions, said: “There will be something for everyone - digging and tidying, cutting back the bushes and litter picking - and people can work at their own pace.”
More information is available on Lilliput Conservation Group’s Facebook page or from Mr Hulbert on 07771 562505.
