PARISH leaders are supporting plans to convert offices in Codrington, near Chipping Sodbury, into a veterinary rehabilitation and physiotherapy clinic for companion animals.

Members of Dodington Parish Council said the clinic would be a useful business to have in the area.

Vet Tamsin O’Brien submitted the proposal for Furlong House in Wapley Road to South Gloucestershire Council, which is yet to determine the scheme.

Ms O’Brien said she specialised in canine physiotherapy and rehabilitation and although planning to mainly treat dogs, would also work with some cats.

In her application she said: “My main aims of treatment are to restore mobility, manage pain and optimise performance.”
