Raising a glass to St Peter’s Hospice
MORE than £750 was raised for St Peter’s Hospice through a wine tasting event in Chipping Sodbury.
The money will go to the charity’s Room to Care appeal to build a new hospice and in-patient care facility.
More than £6 million is needed for the project but a successful fund raising effort means it is only £400,000 short of the target.
The wine tasting was organised by Ann Murray of the town’s Cooking 4 Cookery School and held in Hamptons cafe.
Ann said: “I was thrilled with the turnout and lots of those attending made a point of telling me how much they had enjoyed the evening.”
