Rotary raise funds at Victorian Day
A team of Rotarians have raised more than £1000 at Chipping Sodbury’s Victorian Day by selling Mince Pies, Mulled Wine and Hot Chocolate
The Rotary stall was one of dozens that lined the High Street offering a wide variety of food, gifts and goodies for sale to the hundreds of visitors.
Rotary President Rich Little said: “With the help of superb pies from Hobbs House Bakery, we’ve offered this traditional fare for several years. Judging by the number of people who come to us every year, I think that we’ve now become part of the tradition that Victorian Day brings to the town”.
Money earned from sales at the stall goes back into the community helping to fund local charities and individuals in need, plus some national charities.
