St Nicks Old Boys

St Nicholas FC Men’s Team, commonly known as the ‘Old Boys’ are looking for a new manager for the 2016 – 2017 season.
The Old Boys got together in 2010 and entered the lowest division of the Stroud and District league for their first season. Over the following years the team gained successive promotions, with a Charity Cup win and County cup final on the way. They are now doing well in division two.
After a very successful period in charge their manager has had to call it a day due to work pressures and team captain Tom Monks has stepped up to temporarily take charge. The Old Boys currently sit fourth in a congested table severely affected by the weather and only half of the season’s games completed. Monks hopes that once the weather improves the Old Boys will gain some momentum and finish the season strongly.
Based at the Ridings, the Old Boys train at Chipping Sodbury School on Wednesday evenings. The squad consists of players who have moved up through the age groups at St Nicholas. The club has a very healthy youth division which will continue to sustain the Old Boys as they achieve continued success.
Anyone interested in taking on this rewarding role should contact St Nicholas FC at info@stnicholasfc.co.uk. The club are looking for someone with management experience and enthusiasm and ideally would  have completed the minimum FA qualifications.
