A SERIES of craft fairs will be held in Yate Shopping Centre in the weeks running up to Christmas.
They will be run by Home Crafters – a group of people from the Chipping Sodbury area who make a range of items and sell their goods online.
But they also host a number of fairs so people can see the products and produce they make.
A Christmas market staged by the Home Crafters members for the first time at the shopping centre last year was such a success that it was agreed to repeat it.
Organiser Kirsty Bevan said: “Yate Shopping Centre is an ideal location as it gives us exposure to so many shoppers.
“Our artisans and crafters offer a lot of variety that is not found in the usual shops, with the majority of items hand-made, one-off pieces.
“In addition we hope our showcase will encourage other people to join us in displaying their produce and products at future events as we are always looking for new members.”
The markets will be open from 10am-4pm in unit 6-8 North Walk on November 14 and 28, December 5, 12 and 19. Other dates may be added later.
Shopping centre manager Andrew Lowrey, said: “We are always pleased to support local talent and flair. Home Crafters proved a very popular attraction on its debut last year.”
