A local drama society is gearing up to put on its annual pantomime.
The Sodbury Players have chosen Mother Goose as its performance at Chipping Sodbury Town Hall, starting on 16 January.
Set in the lively stage school of Jollywood Academy, head teacher Mother Goose is loved and admired by all.  Evil alien, Lord Voldor, is horrified by the happiness Mother Goose brings and plots to trick her into trading her golden egg-laying goose for beauty and youth.
The Pantomime has been written by Diane Owen.  There are still tickets available for the weekday performances, and tickets can be bought by calling 0844 332 0230 or booking online at www.sodburyplayers.org.uk.
