Town council offers community grants

Grants are being made available to local organisations from Yate Town Council. It is offering the cash boost to groups that provide a service to the local community.

Grants are being made available to local organisations from Yate Town Council.  It is offering the cash boost to groups that provide a service to the local community.
A council spokesperson said: “Each year, Yate Town Council award grants recognising the contribution made by the voluntary sector. If your group works for the benefit of Yate parishioners with the intention of improving the range of activities in the town, then you may well be eligible”.
Applications must be made by no later than the 26th June 2015. Groups that have previously been successful with the scheme include the South Glos Disability Equality Network, Golden Oldies, Children’s Playlink, Friends of Kingsgate Park and Friends of Yate Common.
