Veteran Yate runner pulls out of Bristol half marathon

September 12 2018

72 year old Clive Daniels from Yate who has run the Bristol half marathon for 20 years raising over £200,000 pounds for charity, has had to pull out this year.

An operation on a torn shoulder muscle has left him unable to train.  Clive’s already raised £246,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support and is keen to exceed £250,000.

He’s hoping to participate in one final Bristol half marathon once fit so he can achieve his target.
