World premiere of new pantomime takes to the stage

December 22 2018

A new production written by a member of the Thornbury Musical Theatre Group is coming to town in February.

‘King Arthur the Pantomime’ includes all the necessary elements of a family favourite; audience participation, comedy, catchy songs and romance.

Written by Richard Prior and directed by Mark Collins, it features lead character Arthur, a lowly squire who longs for Lady Guinevere to return his love.  This takes him on a journey full of dangerous adventures, and a quest to find the Holy Grail. But being a pantomime, things are not going to go his way.

The show is at the Armstrong Hall from 20 to 23 February at 7.30pm and with matinees at 2.30pm on the Friday and Saturday. Tickets are bookable online at www.tmtg.org.uk with no booking fee.  Adults £12.50, Senior Citizens £11.50 and Children £10.50.  Family tickets £40.  For enquiries call Angie at the Box Office on 07516 270140.
