Yate residents visit Houses of Parliament

August 01 2018

MP Luke Hall welcomed the first group of Yate residents to the Houses of Parliament, bringing the number of constituents he’s invited so far to 800.

He started the initiative over a year ago, aiming to bring as many local people as possible to the House of Commons and the House of Lords.

The residents had a guided tour of both buildings, and visited less publicly known places, such as; the Queen’s Robing Room, The Royal Portrait Gallery, Central Lobby, Westminster Hall and St Stephens Hall.
